I've come across so many errors in FCP. What sucks is that FCP doesn't exactly give you any leads as to what the specific error means. I'm going start listing the errors as I encounter them.
Out Of Memory: This will happen when you try to render. You may get 2%, 3% or even 40% rendered and then all of a sudden it gives you this error. (Even if you have 100 Gigs available)
Possible Problem: you have photos in your timeline, or you have graphics in your timeline that arent compatible with FCP.
Possible Solution: If you have graphics, remove the graphic and see if the render will complete. If it is your graphic, you need to bring the graphic into photoshop and make sure it's RGB mode (as oppose to CMYK) and also be sure that it's 8bit channel. If it's photos, they could be too high resolution. Lower the res and try again.
